Kristy,
We are now oficially chatting more than we seem to at Sat. coffee........lol!    Thanks for your reply.  It is helpful to know that we are not alone on our path.   I can't agree with you more on the PMS comment!   I get so crabby at that time, I throw in the towel and don't seem to care too much for myself.   THAT I NEED to work on and change!
I'm going to post about an article I found last night.  Take a peek at that post.    I may not get to it until later today or tonight as I have to get ready to teach summer school today!   :O)
Hugs!

LJ,

Your not alone.......I too have been struggling, but for months......I had gained 10 pounds but have maintained now, lose 3 gain 2. It's frustrating......I can eat more now depending on what it is.......And that alone is frustrating......But I keep trying, never give up.....I just keep telling myself that I'm healthier now, and thinner......And maybe this weight is where my body wants to be.

Good luck, and don't beat yourself up......Kelly

Thank you for your words Kelly!  It does help to know that others are going through the same struggles.   After I posted last night I found an article in my Life Time Fitness magazine.  It was so good and helped me understand one reason why the motivation comes and goes.    I am going to post a new post about this article......so look for that.  I found it helpful.
Take care!

Thanks for posting; since I will be nearing the end of my honeymoon phase, I too find myself, should I say, "relaxing" a bit!  I am 6 months out and lost 100lbs. but have been stuck there for 2 weeks.

I recently got some upsetting news about a dear friend and cancer; it is too early to know the prognosis, but I have found myself wanting to turn to food.  This has been the first time in 6months, I guess old habits do die hard.

I am trying to refocus my efforts; even though I continue to exercise, food seems to be in the front of my mind more lately.  I need to read and look internally at what I am really feeling, becuase I know its not hunger!!!

Thanks for posting Lisa this has been very helpful and especially reading everyone's reply.

Thank you and heres to staying motivated and focused!!!

I hear you, lady-it doesn't get any easier once you have lost the weight, and I don't dump really bad either, so it is really easy to fall off the wagon and eat crappy.  Now that I am working back on a desk/computer all day, I have to be really conscious of snacking-I have already started to eat snackie stuff-UGH!!  along with the craziness of new job/new house and moving, I feel like I am blowing up-the scale says 5 lbs up, but I feel like its 20.  Unlike you, I am terrible about exercise-an being on restriction for the last 3 months has been an excuse to not push myself-now I have had a toenail removed and it's healing, and can't wear anything but flip flops for another 5 days!  Maybe I subconsciously just really don't want to get any smaller/more healthy.....

We have to accept what we are and move on-loved the article you posted, we need to remember that there is a lot of good advice out there, and inspirational reading helps!!  see you at coffee....or are we skipping this weekend because it's the 4th?

Hi Lisa, I don't have any other words of advice that others gave except keep on with the positive attitude. it will pay off. I realized I wasn't getting enought calories. You can do this.
