Yogurt Question
I'm just over 2 weeks post op.. so I just got past full liquids to soft foods....
I love greek yogurt with a little Splenda sprinkled on it. It sweetens it up.. I've really grown to love it. Another trick I've used while I was on full liquids was to add sugar free seedless strawberry jam or any other jelly(jelly is totally smooth).. or any other fruit that's in a pureed form. (or if his tummy doesn't do well with splenda, use another artificial sweetner like equal)

I buy the large container of plain yoplait and use it for all sorts of stuff... add mashed fruit to flavor it.. just tried it with some of the SF caramel syrup I got in the coffee section of Sams and that's really good. Trying to think of a nice dessert to use this as a base for.
Mixed it with some sweet pepper sauce the other night for putting on some fish... use it with fresh herbs for other toppings.
I tried the greek yogurts, Old Home, Dannon, and have settled on the Yoplait as the one I'll buy. It's a nice mix of taste, creaminess, and cost... I go through more than one 32oz container a week (use 1/2 cup in my protein shakes to thicken them up some).
