Finally got a date
Congrats on the date! It'll be here faster than you can imagine 
Now, as for the whole "eating on the 4th" issue, you might as well start looking at holiday get-togethers in a different light. They will now be more of a social/family/people event, than an excuse to eat yourself into a coma. It's a bit intimidating, perhaps even sad, but you'll be surprised at the way you watch others stuff themselves at upcoming holidays. It's CRAZY how little you need to get by, but HOW MUCH people put away!
