OT: Seamstress/tailor?

i bought a pair of jeans I really like but I don't know who they think "average" leg length is because even in my 5-inch heels, they are too long.

I'm looking to find someone to hem them who will do a half way decent job (like who would cut the bottom off, then cut more off and reattach the bottom so the stitching on the bottom still matches the rest of the jeans) and not charge more than I paid for the jeans.

I live in St Paul, work in Eagan. Anyone you'd recommend?

If you go to church I would ask around there......them little ladies LOVE doing stuff like that.......Just a thought.......
