Wow--apparently I didn't know what size i was then and don't really get it now either
I'm home sick and sitting here feeling kind of hefty and unattractive. So I decided to put on my biggest pair of jeans to remind myself of how far I've come.
I can fit into one leg of my old jeans. One leg. I guess I just never thought I was that big back then. Have seen other people's pics of that but I never thought I'd be able to do that...I just had no clue of what my size really was I guess.
I'm vacillating between thrilled and horrified. Someone remind me of this if I ever complain about feeling "fat." Or just slap me.

That's awesome! I did that once and just couldn't believe that I was that big... and that I was that SMALL now. Congrats... that's definitely a great WOW moment to share!

Choose to be thrilled with your progress. It is good to look back and remember how far you have come, but looking over your shoulder all the time won't allow you to see the path aheah of you very well.
Oh, and no slapping....we tend to be huggers here.....although I am still working at not sucking at it so much. The fat image and feeling in your head usually takes awhile to go away...my point being that you are in all likelihood less hefty and more attractive than you think you are. just sayin'

You should be thrilled! Anytime you're feeling fat, pull out those pants and look in the mirror. Major reality check. I know what you mean about not knowing just how big I was before. I mean, I knew I was big, knew I was in the biggest size LB carried (28) but never saw myself as big as I was when I look back at pictures from last year. (I have an example now in my profile, a comparison between then and now)
