Yep, that's me on the right in September 2007.  I don't look too happy about  having my picture taken.  My wife, my oldest daughter, my daughter-in-law and my oldest son are also in the picture, in case you were wondering.

This is me on Father's Day weekend 2009, one year after RNY surgery

You're not even nice.

Keep your shoulders to yourself, would ya?  And the arms, too.

(it's a damn good thing you don't have a hairy chest, or I'd be toast.)

Are you the same guy that was saying a few weeks ago he was self conscious to walk in his tank top at lunch or was that someone else?  It must have been someone else....

You look awesome!!!!  Hubba Hubba is right!

Dr. Benn gave me an incredible tool.. and I intend to make the most out of it!!

That was me.....I have been working on self-acceptance, including how I look.  Sometimes how you feel about yourself is at odds with how others see you, in terms of how you look physically and what they see in you as a person.  I have made great strides towards self-acceptance of late and this post is another step in that direction.  Anyhow, thanks for your flattering words.

Amazing results, Rick!!! Congratulations!
Have you been lifting weights, or did you always have muscular arms? Those are some nice guns!

Also...why is it that men never have loose skin issues? pfft!

Amy:

I don't lift weights, but I have been very physically active lately with walking, riding bike, yard work, moving furniture and the like.

As for the loose skin.....I do have some around the middle and on my lower body, but it is much better than I had feared.
