Uh Oh!

Ummm so I was just sitting here and put one of them crystal light hard candies in my mouth (about the side of 2 nickles on top of each other) and dont ask me how i did it but i swallowed the thing whole. I know this is bad but im hoping it will dissolve on the way down. I want to throw it up but im afraid ill choke on it if it comes back up. Any quick advice?  My clinic does not open for another hour and I really dont want to have to call my surgeon at home.

You should be fine - I would suggest that maybe you drink some form of warm liquid to help it dissolve quicker.  But keep in mind I am not a doctor....I only play one in my own mind.  Good Luck!

So far so good! At first I was more afraid I was going to choke and once that didn't happen I started to worry about my stomach lol.

The passageway INTO your new little pouch/stomach wasn't changed... it's the EXIT you have to worry about.  So yeah - something like that could reasonably dissolve and cause no issues.  Something that WON'T dissolve probably would have had to come back out the way it went in....
