10 WEEKS POST-OP FOODS TO EAT?
I reached that point too. Thankfully that was the same time that Elena (I believe that's who it was) started the what are you are eating thread. Seeing what other people eat definitely helped inspire me to try new things.
Can you do chili? I ate a lot of chili at that time. Also made really thick meat sauce (spaghetti sauce) and ate it with cheese and some soft, well cooked veggies. You can also make kind of a mock lasagna with ricotta cheese mixed with an egg and some seasoning, layered with cheese and meat sauce. I always buy those 1/2 cup glad containers and fill them up with whatever I make and thrown them in the freezer. That way I have a lunch ready to go and portion controlled.
I have to admit though, I'm probably the worst person to be answering your question. I eat the same things all the time. I live alone and I hate cooking (hah, and I was a cookbook editor just a few years ago!). I've picked up some chicken salad from Byerly's...way yummy. About that time, I was also doing hot ham and cheese rollups. (Be careful though...if you nuke them too long, you won't be keeping it down for too long.) I'm the string cheese queen. Buy it at SuperTarget...Kraft 24pks are under 6 bucks all the time...my favorite and a better price than even the store brands.

Hit the OH recipes board. There are some good recipes there. I like cottage cheese, chicken, meatloaf, eggs, cheese sticks...
