Thank you for posting, Kathy!  I honestly don't care what surgery someone chooses but it makes me sad when I see someone have regrets for what they chose because they had only heard of a couple choices.  So don't be afraid to post, my classy friend - someone may read and benefit from it.

Kathy I feel you should keep posting these studies here.  This is the only way to get the word out here in Minnesota.  We have two almost three DS surgeons and it is terrible that people do not know that they have more than just two options for weight loss surgery. 

I for one knew that I would not be able to live with the RNY or the LapBand, so I thank God that I found out about the DS.  It is a surgery that sompletely fits me and the way I live.  I will be able to work with this surgery.  If this post helps one pre-op than it has served its purpose.  Everyone has a right to post here.  Even though we have had the DS we can post to a public forum and post information.  Even if it is information some people do not like.
