Hey fellow Minnesotan's I know its been a LONG time since I've posted and for that I am sorry. I've been going through a really bad down swing and I have pulled away from my strongest support system and I am extreamly sorry. I can really really use some prayers, not only for me but also for my family. Where do I start? Well lets start with my family. My sister is home from college for the summer which is kinda nice but her and my mom are best friends, so its been hard to sit by and watch them interact. My mom has the summers off since she is a educational assistant. Its been stressful with her around. My dad just got laid off yesterday. He was the bread winner of the family. He was also the one carring insurance. I and the rest of my family no longer has medical. So our hous has been stressful.
As for me I still don't have a job I had a job perspective but was waiting to hear back from the state to see if they approved me and the state is SO far backed up that its been 3 weeks now. I got a call today from the guy and he tols me that he don't know how long thaet he can hold the spot open. I can't blame him I know that he needs someone in there, but now that means that I am without a job still. I can't sit by all summer without a job I got bills comin in left and right and the bank account is in the red. My cell phone is going to get shut off cuz I can't pay it.

Please pray that I get the letter from the state soon so that I can call the boss and tell him that I am good to go before he gives the job away.

As far as the weight is going I'm doin well I'm 4 months out and I'm 10 pounds away from loosing 100 pounds. I've been walkin everyday and tryin to lift every other.

I hope that everything is good with everyone else! Thnaks for everything!!!

Hey Valerie!

Good to see you back, but I have to tell you... I am about to give you a little "tough love".

I know MANY people that have been laid off in the past few months.  They will take your job offer in a minute!  If you still have the offer, screw the state and put some money in your pocket and help put food on the table and help lessen the stress on your father.  You are a big girl now, you can do it!
I am assuming you are waiting for state medical care?  Our government is good for some temporary, get you over the hump help, but if offered a job... you better take it.  You could be waiting til hell freezes over for a letter!

I hope everything goes well for you.  Like I said, a little tough love today... but only because I care!

I hate waiting for stuff from the state.  I worked in a treatment center and in social work and sometimes waiting for the paperwork from the state was the most ridiculous part.  I'm going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers because you need some lifting up :)
