Every opinion we share, every favor we perform, every moment we intently listen to someone talk about themselves is our opportunity to pass along something positive to a person who needs us.

I know there is one I believe it's the 2nd monday of each month in Bloomington.  It is headed up by Tammy Bishop Erickson.

If you goggle mplsdsgroup (on yahoo groups) you will find their website for support.

I originally sought the DS and was involved in this support group.

I just got the notification about the upcoming meeting.
Here it is.

Can you believe it's already time for another meeting?  I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you again!  We'll be meeting Monday night, June 15th,  at Perkins on 494 & France Avenue in Edina @ 6:00pm in the library room.   Feel free to come late or leave early as needed.  Please send me an email by Monday afternoon and let me know if you'll be able to attend and if you'll be bringing a guest.  I'd like to have an approximate count for the manager when I call to confirm on Monday afternoon.  If anyone has a specific topic they'd like to have covered at the meeting or suggestion, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to accommodate your request.  See you soon!

Tammy's group is only one support group in the metro area. There is another group as well as the one the hospital puts on monthly.

Since you may need Tammy's assistance with insurance approval/appeal, seek her out first.

Keep in mind, though, that she LOVES Dr. Buchwald so if you're going with Ikrammudin, just tune her out!!!

And she is recently married, so her new name is Tammy (Bishop) Simmon, f.y.i.

Hi Tallia,

I had the DS two years ago with Dr. I. He's a great surgeon. I love my DS!

Come to the DS board and ask any questions you may have.
