Vegetarian and WLS?

I have been trying to search the boards for information on being a vegetarian after WLS and haven't found much.  I really don't enjoy meat very much, but I eat it because of my protein needs.  Is there anyone out there who is getting the recommended 60-90 grams of protein daily from non-meat sources?  I supplement my diet with protein bars and shakes, but don't want to rely completely on them for my protein.  If I don't get much of a response here, I will post on the main board, but I hesitate to do that because sometimes the responses are kind of crazy.  Thanks for any info you can share!

I do know of at least one person who is vegan following WLS.  Her main protein sources are legumes and beans.  She also gets protein from vegetables.  I will talk to her and see if she is willing to talk with you about how her diet works.

Try tofu also It is a great source of protein. I would not survive without it.
