So, I got my period three days after surgery (5/7/09) and have not gotten it since.  Is this normal?  I had my tubes tied after my last baby 4 years ago and have been pretty regular since, but have had times when I was VERY irregular!  I'm not too concerned about being pg, just don't know when to expect it again.  Anyone else experienced this?  Thanks!

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this - AND SO CAN YOU!!

Yes, totally normal. Your estrogen is out of whack because when you lose weight, you lose fat first, and fat holds estrogen. When you lose the fat, the estrogen is released into your system. This is why you get a bit teary and moody too. :)

Please spay and neuter your pets!

I had mine during the surgery but ended very quickly-I am sure the surgery "shock" I was thinking that I probably would not have another one or it will just make for the lost time! My lucky family!

YEAH - Nice new Avatar girl!
I got mine 3 days after surgery and I bled for 3 weeks off and on.  I am/was very irregular that is why I got an IUD because I never knew when it was going to come.
I haven't had a regular one since then - but have had some ishy stuff now and again.  So I think it's pretty normal that our cycles are screwed up!
Sal
PS - good to hear from you!
