Protien Bars VS Protien drinks?
Hello,
I prefer protein bars.
I use the Pure Protein (my fav: Choc/PB) or the Met-Rx (my fav: Choc carmel nut) bars. They come in several different flavors, have a 18-20 grams of protein and less than 3 grams of sugar.
Both can be purchased at Walmart, Target, Drug stores, and some Grocery stores.

I like both, but for different reasons.
If I need to physically chomp on something and need the protein, I go with a bar - actually I only like one and I order it online. It's ISS Research brand OH YEAH protein wafer bars. Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Chocolate Mint are my favorite flavors. www.allstarhealth.com has the best price on them.
If I'm needing more liquid and protein in a day, I go with a protein shake. I prefer two kinds. Champion Nutrition's Banana Scream flavor is one. (try adding a Tbsp. of PB to this...oh yum!) Or the ready-to-drink ISS Research Oh Yeah vanilla. The ready-to-drinks are spendy, but they are so much smoother and easier to drink IMO.
As with any thing low in sugar, when you're choosing either a bar or powder, just make sure there are not sugar alcohols because you could also end up in a dumping situation from those, from what I have heard.
