Impulse candy section at Cub
Have you shopped at Cub Foods recently?
If so, have you seen what I have?
I think it's great that Cub is moving towards the healthier choices!
What I saw was that in every other lane, the candy bars have been replaced by protein bars.
So, now when I shop, I have the choice to make. I can go down temptation lane or I can go down satisfaction lane. Because, I know my body feels much better when I do not fill it with candy! And the bigger impact of this is that I can choose the protein packed lane and my kids will not feel the need to ask "can I have a treat" and spend 10 minutes choosing which sugar they want at that moment. And by using that lane, we won't spend extra money, because I'm quite picky about my protein bars & Cub doesn't carry the ones I like anyhow. I'm just glad to now have the choice of which lane to use based on this change.
What are your thoughts on Cub making the change?
