So, I Think A Giant Bug Crawled Out Of My Ass

As I posted on Friday, I have been in a frightfully foul mood for the past several weeks.  Over the weekend, the giant crabby bug that had been lodged up my ass must have slithered out in the night.  I am guessing that it was due to the cumulative effect of having a wonderful time at a party on Saturday night (thanks Tim!), completing a major repair project at my MIL's house so it can be sold, letting go of some of my fears about ******g off important people in my life when they are too controlling, and feeling like my WLS friends really do care about me even when I am less than charming.  In any event, I am feeling better today than I have in almost three weeks.  I am hoping that this positive mood continues for awhile.  Even if it doesn't, though, I am going to enjoy the beautiful weather today and count my blessings, which, by the way, include all of my WLS friends.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better.  That was truly a long 'funk' you were in!!  I missed seeing you at coffee on Saturday but as the busy summer approaches it gets hard sometime to split up your time.  I hope the GIANT BUG stays out of your ass because I miss you on the board!

Donna:

I am guessing that I will miss more than a few coffees over the summer because I want to spend a lot of time at our lake property.  I will probably get back to posting things related to emotional issues sooner than I expected if the crabby bug stays away, though.  Writing about my emotional experiences seems to help some people realize that they are not alone, but it also upsets some people, too.  As long as what I write doesn't bore people, I will post things and try not to upset too many people.

You know I think the world of you - I was THRILLED you hauled yourself out Saturday night!  I always say, when you LEAST feel like putting yourself out there, well, that's when you MOST need to!!!

Gosh... I hope that bug didn't crawl out while you were in the HOT TUB!!?!!    Just sayin'...  and I hope that nasty insect keeps it's distance, or I'm gonna have to open a can of WHOOP-ASS on that sucker!!!

(Oh... and btw?  NICE GUNS!!     )

Maybe all that foam in the hot tub came from the bug crawling out......eeeeeew that is just too gross to think about today.

Anyway, thank you for encouraging me to be around friends.  I guess I needed it.

Rick,

So glad to hear that the Giant critter found it's way out....I'm assuming that it is quite thankful too given your history of gas issues!!!

Anyway, it was great to see you and Shirley on Saturday, I had a great conversation with her, as ridiculous as it may sound, it was nice to talk with someone *****ALLY understood what I had been going through. I just can't imagine how you either of you beared 22 days, I'm still exhausted from just 5.

I'm also VERY happy to hear that you'll be posting again - I noticed that you had stopped for a while, but thought that was because of your MIL and not that you might have pissed a few people off.  If people don't like your posts, tell them to block you, or better yet, block them - then you won't see their posts and they won't see yours.  I've learned that I don't need to agree with everyone on this board and when I don't, I block them - it's a VERY easy way to ignore what you don't want to see!

Anyway, sorry I had to get on a little soap box there - I just think you have such amazing wisdom - I really hate that others might prevent the majority of us getting to experience it because they're sour apples!

Love you tons!
Take care!

Tracy:

It's not that people really pissed me off.  I just didn't have any more room for negativity for awhile there.  I haven't blocked anyone on OH, but if they want to block me, I can live with that.

It was great to see you on Saturday and you should know that you did Shirley some good, too, because you know exactly what she went through.

Take care,

RP
