My little "wow" moment

The last three and a half months have been so full of "wow" moments for me but, for some reason, a particular one that happened this weekend stood out.  We went down to Winona for my BIL's ordination into the priesthood and stayed at a Holiday Inn.  After swimming with the kids (in a swimsuit IN PUBLIC!) I went back to the room to shower so I would not smell like chlorine when we went to dinner.  I stepped out of the shower and wrapped the hotel towel around me and it actually wrapped all the way around!  I don't remember ever having a hotel towel wrap completely around me.  I so love my RNY!

You Go!!  What a great feeling that must have been!  Congratulations and keep up the GREAT work!!

That is a great wow, swimming in public AND having the hotel towel wrap all the way around!  Congrats!!

Yea!!  Both are amazing, but the towel.  That is a huge milestone!!

To others it may seem like so little, but to us, it's huge (no pun intented!)  Good for you and all of your hard work!

AWESOME!!!   I was SURE all the towels in our house had grown several inches in length before I realized - it was ME SHRINKING, not the TOWELS GROWING! 

Hang on to that, and every other WOW that comes along - they're the BEST!  

(And for the record?  There's NO SUCH THING as a "little" WOW moment!  By it's very definition, anything that elicits a "WOW" is a BIG DEAL!!!)

          

Thanks ladies!  Many of my "wow" moments can be shared w/ my non-WLS friends but I believe this is one that only those of us who have been there, done that can understand.

You are so right, those that do not need WLS just wouldn't understand something like this or even many of our wow's.
