Hey there....

I'm having surgery on July 8 (38 days and counting ) and I'm runnning out of B complex. My wife who is 15 months out of RNY is taking B12 sublingual dots, my question is what is the difference between them and can I start taking the B12 dots now? (I will be taking them after my surgery)

Thanks
Dave

If you have not had surgery yet, your body will absord b12 from food you eat.  The suppliments become necessary due to malaborption after (RNY) surgery.

However, it is impossible for your body to over dose on B12, so taking it won't hurt you, and if you see it as a way to start a new habit, go for it.

I actually take both as part of my regular vitamin intake..

Wishing you all the best on your upcoming surgery..
