OT - In Hospital Again

Hi, guys! I'm in the hospital again. This darned ulcerative colitis is causing my hemoglobin to drop again. It was down to 5.3 yesterday...no WONDER I felt so tired! I came in last night and am nw on my third unit of blood. After that they're gonna give me two units of plasma. Depending on how the numbers look after all this, they may even let me out today, but we'll see. They won't let me out of bed right now as I get dizzy when up. We'll see if they let me move around any later on today. They even turned on the alarm on my bed!

Didn't sleep much last night (even with sleeping pill) 'cause they kept coming in so much. That, and the darn sun comes up so early! Swing some chickens for me and I'll be back when I can! (And chicken sounds good...they've only given me clear liquids so far!)

Nancy, So sorry to hear that you are not feeling and you are in the hospital!! Hang in there and I hope you get out of there real soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been the best decision besides marriage and kids that I have ever made!!

Thanks, Linda! I'm feeling better already after three units of blood. They decided not to give me the plasma for now.

This dang colitis has certainly had it's nasty way with you, Nancy... I'm so sorry you're not feeling well!!!
