Today  HCMC has recieved my psych eval and now i wonder how long it takes to get submitted to insurance maybe hopefully tommorrow.  I have health partners insurance

Hopefully things will move along fast now!

I also have Health Partners insurance. I needed to meet with the surgeon BEFORE it was turned in to the insurance. When meeting with him, they set up a tentative date, for 3 weeks out, the paperwork was then all turned in. It then took me about 1 week to get my approval.

I called HP everyday...it took them 8 bussiness days to decide....not to long!!

They reserve the right to take 14 business days, but it rarely takes that long.  My first approval for RNY took 7 or 8 business days, and my re-approval for DS took 7.  They count from when they "received" it, which is when they scanned it into the system, so I'd wait until Monday or Tuesday and call to ask if and when they have received it, so you know when to start counting.  They don't care if you call and check as long as you are polite and not pushy.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you sweetie, keep us posted!

I have health partners and it took about a week and a half  from my last psych visit to when i found out I was approved so good luck.
