My results are that i'm perfectly healthy. CT didn't find anything and neither did the labs. She doesn't know what else to do for me. I'm seeing a gastroenterologist. Said that maybe my eruptions at my staple line just need to heal some more. So, I'm still on kapidex and carafate and I'll go back in another month. I've been dealing with this for 7-8 weeks already - you think that the meds would have already healed it. I was feeling better for a while and it came back. I asked her if it could be something with my remnant stomach and she said that it could be - there's no way to know. The bariatric surgeon in Tallahassee won't see WLS patients that didn't have surgery with him, so I'm not sure what else to do. I will be back in MN in October, so maybe I can see Dr Wetherille then, but that's 4+ months away. Hopefully I'll feel better with time.

Schedule that appt. with Wetherille now, so you've got it on his calendar, Farrah. You might not need it when you come in the fall, but at least you're on the calendar in case you do.
I think that's pretty crappy of the FL surgeon to not see you. He's got the wrong attitude that's for sure!
