Dr. Kendric at Mayo

Has anyone here had surgery by him? If so, can you tell me how your results were? thanks

BTW, I am hoping to have the DS with Kendric this fall.

I met with Dr. (Michael) Kendrick in 2004 to have RNY.  I backed out and once I decided to have it again, I went to his colleague, James Swain.  Kendrick had just started doing lap surgeries at Mayo in 2004 and I was hesitant to have this surgery.  He is now known as the "one to have" do your surgery. Great bedside manner, great nurse practitioner following you and being available to answer your questions (huge).  I really tried to get him but he was too far out and I wanted to move forward with the surgery. Once I met Swain, I was fine.  So even though I did not have surgery performed by him, I have to say I have only heard excellent things.  You may want to talk to: autumbttfly (Tricia) and tiffanydea; both women post on here and had Kendrick perform their surgeries.
