first appointment down

I had my first appt with a doc and nutrition person at FWLS today.  I have mixed feelings about it.  I left with a headache!  Sounds like there are no problems for qualifying and I am pretty much sure I am doing the RNY.
so, I have my "stuff" I need to do.  Lose 10 lbs, have a sleep study, see the psych, get blood work.
I had a better feeling about the clinic from the informationational meeting than I did today, but I'm sure it's just me.

Pretty sure I have apnea, it sounds like- which would possibly bump up the six month, six visits thing.  That would be a good thing!

Way to go! That's the first step of many in this amazing and wonderful journey! Glad you're taking the steps... you'll be there before you know it! 

I'm a FWLS patient also.  I remember that first appointment being overwhelming.  So many things to do.  When they told me to lose 15 lbs before surgery, I felt like saying "If I could do that I wouldn't need the surgery!!"  Good luck on your exciting journey.

About half way through I suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe!  It was three hours by the time we were done. 
I see you had your surgery with Dr. Benn?  A friend on mine suggested him- her husband does weight loss surgery and though I wasn't comfortable seeing him I was glad she had an opinion of someone to see!

Out of curiousity, who did your info session and which dietician did you see today?
