I got a phone call from my family Dr friday night saying that my pap smar came back abnormal LSIL also positive for HPV.....
Talk about some anxiety!!!
So now I have to go in and do a Colposcopy and biopsy on June 11th.
Well the park niclloet called me and told me that they had recieved my results and that it is best I put everything on hold and that they will keep my info and records for 6 months.
This also runs in my family I guess!.....I have three people in my family that have had precancerous and one ended up with cancer well  two have had a hystratomy (sorry about spelling) and one had the cervix removed....
well there is my rambling.....

"Obstacles are what we see when we take our eyes off the goal."

Take care of first things first - WLS isn't going away any time soon.    If you're feeling disappointed, that's okay.  Everything happens when it's supposed to.  We'll be here throughout!

Sorry you hit a little bump in the road.  I hope you have favorable results from your testing and can get back to the WLS process in no time.

It's so hard to have your journey sidetracked.  I hope all goes well and you're on your way to the loser's bench sooner than you thought!!

I HAD HPV too - 7 years ago, had the colposcopy and WALAH!  Every pap since then clear as a bell.
The best things in life are worth waiting for!  Think positive girl everything is going to be okay!

Tennille-

My WLS was also put on hold due to a "female" cancer.  You are doing the best thing possible by taking care of this testing before moving forward.  I have learned that there is a reason for every bump in the road.  In my case it made my WLS all the more precious to me.

Good Luck and keep us all informed.
