I don't think any cravings I had were based on "time" as much as they were on cir****tances.  If my family was eating pizza, then YES!   I WANTED PIZZA TOO!!!  But I never got physically HUNGRY on the LD, because PNC allows up to 5 protein drinks a day, plus all the other liquids you wanted - so any time I had a craving, I knew it was all psychological.

Damn head games...   Keep it goin' - it will be SOOOOOO worth it in the end!!!

My body has been pretty good-not feeling too hungry. But brain hungry made it about 5 days. Had a little meltdown on Sunday as I was really HUNGRY. Today is one week down- one to go.  I only lost 2 lbs so that did not help the frustration. Feeling a little tired-had my preop exam today.  I told my family that they were on their own. They for the most part were fine with it. Im guessing since I am 1/2 way done I can make it the rest...

Today is my first day on Liquid Diet.  I'm not dying but I can tell within 30-45 minutes of my next meal that I acknowledge that I "feel" hungry physically.  All I can think about is bread and cheese.  What I mostly want is the salt/savory taste.  Maybe I need to break into the chicken broth.

I was miserable from the start but it was all coming from my head (like a drug addict's withdrawal).   I was angry that everyone else could eat and i couldn't.  But by the first week I started feeling emotionally a little better (stopped punishing people around me for eating; still ashamed I did that) and in a way I felt a sense of control over my eating for the first time.  Then when I started seeing the weight come off  I felt really good; I loss 30 lbs in 10 days.

Wow, 30 pounds in 10 days?!  Good job there!!
I've been doing mine for two days now and I'm just bored.  I wanted something to chew on SO BADLY but oh well.  As long as I can keep myself from feeling sickly hungry I'm okay.  I'm getting used to the protein shake taste... for now!  I can TOTALLY understand why people post-op celebrate being able to eat something other than mush and puree.  I would gauge that so far I've lost maybe 5 pounds.
