Chinese Food?

I am planning on going to my groups Triplets and more outing later this month.  We are meeting at PF Changs in Edina and I was wondering if chinese food would be ok.  I haven't had any since before surgery.  My pouch has been very picky in the past, but since the stricture has been fixed, my pouch seems a little more tolerant.  I don't want to get sick, so is there anything that would be safe there?  Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Very WLS meals.  I highly recommend the appetizer - Chicken Lettuce Wraps - it is great and there's plenty for one person.  There are also beef & chicken entrees that are delish.  The egg drop soup would be really safe if you're feeling skittish.

I have been to PF Changs a few time since surgery.  Normally I cannot eat chinese food but I have not had a problem there.   I would recommend staying away from rice, that gets stuck for me.  But I have had the Lettuce Wraps and love them.

Enjoy

Beef broccoli, cashew chicken, egg drop soup, peanut chicken, the options are many. Lettuce wraps sound wonderful, never tried those before. I have tried a little bit of rice, the chicken fried rice goes better than white rice, white does tend to take lots of chewing. I have also have a few bites of lo mein. Just remember, protein first. Good luck, and enjoy your outing.

I agree with Sandy...PF Changs "Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps" are to die for....YUMMY!!!! They are not spicy...believe me I don't like hot spicy food and I love these. They are listed under appetizers.
Hope you give them a try.....you will have leftovers to take home!!

Stay away from anything that could have alot of peanut oil in it, that has been known to make a few people dump.
