OT: Car rental coupons.?
Sorry for the OT...
I plan to rent a car when I go see my mom next month... WHY...when my mom lives 15 miles from the airport...?!?! I need to feel like I have freedom... Not that I have all the money in the world but you dont understand my mom... LOL.. Also they are down to 1 vehicle and her SO/hubby works overnight rotating shifts.. ANYWOO... TMI.. I know..!! I dont want to feel trapped.
I am looking for Enterprise coupons.. Anyone have a happenings book that has any? I have rented through Enterprise before and like them AND they are located at the Tampa airport versus being shuttled to a remote location. The flight I am looking at puts me their at 11pm so I would rather not shuttle somewhere..
Many thanks for anything you may or may not have...
Hugs and Smootchies to ALL...

Consider using Priceline.com for car rentals...that's how I always do it. First plug in all your info, then look at the different prices available. Take the lowest price listed for the type of car you want, subtract about 30%. Then go to "name your own price" and plug in your new number. I usually start at about 15 bucks a day for the economy car, then work up from that. If they don't take your offer, then you have to pick a different price and a different car. The nice thing is that your car will be paid for when you go and pick it up. I just got a full size car in Orlando for about 20 bucks a day.

Hey there. Don't know that I've officially met you. Seen you on the boards often. so hello.
When I flew into Atlanta last weekend for the Alabama wedding, I rented a car through Alamo. Our dear friend Heidi was selling happenings books so I grabbed one.. The best deal I found was through Alamo. I had a coupon. I checked all other agencies. Alamo was just the cheapest.
I am more than willing to print you out a coupon. There are bunch of online coupons that I can replicate and let you use. They are multiple uses. So I won't be giving up something that I could use later.
A reminder to you before you leave..... We rented a car with a GPS device for 3 days, just a little over $100. But with the gas shortage in Atlanta that weekend, we had to return the car empty (most gas stations ran out of gas and the lines were 2 -3 hours long). It took more than 30 minutes to fill your gas tank. So when you return it empty after agreeing to have it filled, it ended up costing an extra $75 in gas. Almost $6 /gallon. Just be aware of this ahead of time. If I would have agreed to let them fill it when I returned it, it would have been less = about $4.50/gallon.
email me at [email protected] if you want me to send you some coupons. I can send you an email attachment with them.
And if there is anything else you'd use from the book, by all means let me know. I won't use many of them anyway. SO I'd be glad to share.
