WOW moments!!
One -- today... I bought two size 12/14 tops! WOW!! I picked one up and it looked tiny.... but as I tried to slip the shirt on, I could tell it would fit. Once it did, I fell over in the dressing room... it was pure shock... I cannot remember the last time I wore a 12/14.
Second WOW moment was on Sunday... I went to an auction event for my church. It was at the Piper's home, so.. HUGE and tons of people. I haven't attended church often lately because of my shame of getting so fat. Well, as the auction ended and I went to pay for what I won, one of the Jaffreys (who hadn't seen me in forever) came up to me and said, "I remember you! Is your mom here too?"
It was such a great feeling to be recognized and actually NOTICED in such a huge crowd!! I am starting to get over that fear of seeing people I used to know... because I am not as ashamed now about how I look.
Elena,You are beautiful both outside and inside! You have done a great job! Congrats on the WOW's! They are truly the rewards of all our hard work!!

I am so happy for you! I found some of my 12/14s from when I lost a bunch of weight about 8 years ago. Wow, I apparently dressed pretty ****ty!
It's amazing how small we make our world's when we are embarassed by our weight. I realized that this week. I'm not isolating because I'm depressed. I just don't want to be seen.
