OT: Prayers please

I'm not one to do this but my husband lost his job today due to the company shutting down. He has been at this job for 14 years and is the main provider for our family.
I'm a little freaked out today any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Everything is just going terrible in the economy, etc.....

My thoughts & prayers to your family......Hopefully with his experience he will be able to find another job soon......Prayers going up....

This is devastating!!  I'm so sorry to hear about this, especially with how stressful it was for him while waiting on that job where the company sought him out.  Please know that God WILL provide for you during this time!  I will definitely include you in my prayers!

Just remember that when God closes one door He opens another!! I pray that he finds something else soon!!! I also pray that you both find strength to get thru this bump in the road!!!

I totally understand how you feel right now. I lost my job this last week, and my husband found out his company has been a sham, so they are upset that he left the company and are holding his last two pay checks. Plus we just moved to FL so no money in reserves. Needless to say, we are NOT covering our bills this month. The one thing I can say is no matter how much you are stressing, take care of yourself. The stress eating is definately a concern for me, I really have to watch it, I am not sure how you are doing with that. Also, make sure you really keep up on your vitamins and supplements as well as the protein. You have enough to deal with, don't let the stress get you physically sick as well. I will be thinking about you and wish your family the best.

JEnnifer!!  Good thoughts and prayers to you and your family!!  My hubby was layed off last Feb after being with a company for almost 22 years..  I definately feel your pain..

What type of work does he do, maybe someone on the board knows of openings that he would be good at...it's called networking - and it does work!
