So does anybody go out and get fancy clothes?  How do we dress if we go?  Would love to get my hubby to get all decked out and get a ****tail dress or something.  Hopefully he will feel good.  He actually told me about the Gala, so he wants to go.

I know some people definitely do! I have never gone but I really think that I will go to it. It sounds FUN! Me in a dress? Hmmm... that's a rare thing to see. We'll have to see how I feel when November comes around!!

Missy and myself are wearing bridesmaids dresses that I have from previous weddings I was in.

It was always a formal affair before, but it will be a real mixed bag this year since it is also a costume party this year.   At least it was the last time I saw a post on it, I haven't been on the board much.

The Gala is a dress up affair this year again as in the past. Everyone should come as dressed up as they can or want to. All are welcome.

The costumes were one idea for this year that some people loved and some did not, so we dropped that idea.

Have a great day!

I think having a masqarade(sp) party is a great idea, but to mix it with the dress up affair of the Gala wasn't a great thing.  I think it would have to be one or the other.

I agree with you, so I am glad we decided to stick to the usual dress up. I hope to see you there. You were so gorgeous and fun in your red dress last year.  Take care!

It's been a bit of a rough year I don't know if we'll make it.  If not I hope everything goes well!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say this before, but I am sorry you had a rough year.  Thinking of you and hoping the rest goes better for you. You deserve it!  Marla

The time I went I wore a floor length gown and nearly every one was dressed up - gowns, ****tail dresses, dress pants and blouses - for the ladies.  Suits and tuxes for the men

this year my hubs is wearing a tie, but leaving the coat at home..he and i both want him to be comfortable   As for me, I have to see what fits - too big or too small, but I am going to be wearing some kind of ****tail type dress. I try and combine comfort and looking fabulous
