Gala, dress?
I know some people definitely do! I have never gone but I really think that I will go to it. It sounds FUN! Me in a dress? Hmmm... that's a rare thing to see. We'll have to see how I feel when November comes around!!
It was always a formal affair before, but it will be a real mixed bag this year since it is also a costume party this year.

I think having a masqarade(sp) party is a great idea, but to mix it with the dress up affair of the Gala wasn't a great thing. I think it would have to be one or the other.

The time I went I wore a floor length gown and nearly every one was dressed up - gowns, ****tail dresses, dress pants and blouses - for the ladies. Suits and tuxes for the men
this year my hubs is wearing a tie, but leaving the coat at home..he and i both want him to be comfortable
As for me, I have to see what fits - too big or too small, but I am going to be wearing some kind of ****tail type dress. I try and combine comfort and looking fabulous
