bummed and worried about surgery!!

I am scheduled for surgery Wed next week and see all the docs Tues. I am excited and so ready for this but now am bummed because i got a nasty cold.

Do you think they will still do the surgery? I sure hope it will go away over the weekend.

I plan on resting as much as I possibly can with 4 1/2 year old trips at home.

As long as you are not running a temp, they will usually not cancel..  Stay on top of the meds..  I took zinc tablets and drank tons of water to make sure I was through the worst of it..

I would call the doc office and let them know - they can maybe give you some recommendations.  by tuesday the worst of it could be past - but rather safe than sorry.

I hope you get over your cold, you've got a week, lots of times that's enough. I just have to say, WOW- Triplets, OH MY! Hope you have some help at home as you recover from surgery.

Stay on top of it.....Chicken noodle soup.....I too got sick before surgery, even ended up on an antibiotic.......I think as long as you don't have a fever or respitory problems they will still do surgery......

I would wait to call on Monday if your not better.. just my opinion.  I have that cold too and it lasted two bad days now Im just snifflin and its gone.
Watch your temp.

That sucks.  The cold that's going around is a real bummer.  I hope that you feel better by next week - my guess is they won't cancel unless you develop a respiratory infection or something.  Best wishes that all goes well for you!

Do you live there? What am I missing?

I know it is confusing. He just transferred from Mayo in AZ back to Mayo Rochester. I should switch that on my profile.
