Just for one week -- how did you do?
Sorry about the lateness of the post... I have no internet at home right now so I have to find coffee shop time to post.
How did everyone do last week? Even if you did well for 1 day, let us know!
I didn't exercise every day... but I DID exercise 5 days out of the week, which is WAY more than I would have without the challenge. It was good to finally get my body moving even though I was very sore afterward.

You didn't hear me cursing on Thursday morning? Yeah, well I made it 6 out of the 7 days. It seems like such a small thing. But for me, it really helped me cut back on some of the grazing I had been doing over the past week. I think it was boredom. Doing much better now.
Thanks for suggesting this. Had it not been for your post, who knows what I would have done!

Yeah, it can seem like a "small thing" but for us individually... it can be huge!! I have things like that too.... and if I don't get a handle on it, it can get out of control... that's why I don't eat pasta at all... because I know where that can lead, lol.
Hello everyone,
I lifted only 2 of the 3 times that I committed to.
I have good excuses as to why I didn't get the 3rd one in but they don't matter.
I started my pilates class and am now working on a new goal to get in one class and practice 2X's on my own during the week to total 3 pilates per week. I like pilates better than lifting weights.
Being active is new to me. I need to come up with a list of activities that get me moving. Wouldn't it be nice to live where the weather cooperates every day.
I think I get bored with the same old exercise. It would be nice to meet others that want to be active more too.

That's me for sure! I am trying to get active... I have a list that I post up on the wall of 10 different options for exercise that I can do... that way, I have some choice every time I need to get my butt moving! BTW, way to go on the 2 times weight lifting!! That is a big deal!
I ended up having some kind of fire to put out all week (Mon - Fri) and not getting home until 9 or 10pm...
...I need a do-over.
The goal was in my head all week, but I didn't make it...

I've worked 24 hours so far this week--24 non-stop hours of stair climbing, walking, reaching. I need to get a pedometer! BUT--at the plasma clinic, where they have an extremely accurate scale, I was down today 4 lbs from last week. So I guess I'm getting a work out! Also--the only access to food is at 2-15 minute coffee breaks and a half hour lunch break. PLUS--I'm soooo broke that I couldn't buy junk--had to eat what I brought from home. ((Hear the violins playing 'My Heart Cries for You'?))
Ohhh--my achin' feet and achin' knee! My arthur-ritis is killin' me!
But hey--I AM MOVING!

Congratulations to everyone for taking this challenge...Don't give up! I AM A NON-SMOKER since Friday Sept. 12! Gnawed on plenty of baby carrots and celery, though did it! The first 48 hours were a challenge, then forward wasn't bad at all with behavior modification. Now it's just 'mind over matter' for me. Hugs, Patti
