I Just Got a Date!!!

Well, the doc's office just called & I have a date for my Lap Band surgery...October 22nd!!! Not certain of the time, but they figure it will be late morning. Wow, now it's really real & a bit scary, but exciting also! I have an EGD scheduled for 10/3 & I hope it comes out fine so I don't have any surprises !! 

You've made this journey so much easier for me, and I thank everyone who has posted their ups & downs...you can't imagine how much you've helped!!

Congrats on getting a date for your lap band! It is exciting and every other emotion, too. I've had mine for almost 2 years and think it's the greatest thing. Hope all goes well for you! Jean B.

Thanx, Jean...It's great to read all the successful posts on the OH boards. It's really been a huge help gaining everyone's insights and information. I like that folks post the good, the bad, and the ugly because that's exactly how life is. Everyone's different. Thanx again for your good wishes!!

Hoooray!!!!! I am so happy to read your post!! You have a date!!!! Wooo Hooo!! Make sure you put on the seat berlt, cuz sister your ride is gonna take off and you will be on the loosers bench with the rest of us!! I am so happy for you!!!
