Counting calories... what NUT said...
I sort of do a combination of both. At a meeting we heard per 100 calories 3 grams of fat, so thats how I determine if I want something, is it low fat? I buy on that prinicpal and when I get home I really don't think about the calories again, so it's more check it out when you are shopping thing for me and then when you get home listen to your pouch and when you are full.
