3 Years Out today

Hi everyone! Today is my 3 year surgiversary! Things were tough. This journey is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I've learned a lot. A lot about myself and about others. This site has been a god-send to me, even now that I've moved a bajillion miles away. I miss the PNC meetings like crazy, we don't have anything nearly as fun down here!

I went from 246 pounds to 166 today. Not too shabby if I say so myself. Of course, if I add exercise, I'm sure I can go further, but that's something I'm working on. I dealt with butt-pain (remember the butt pillow I'd bring along with me everywhere?), ulcers, and abinge-eating disorder, but it's all worth it.

Thanks everyone for all the support throughout these years. I miss you madly!

Please spay and neuter your pets!

Hello Farrah......congratulations on your 3 year SURGIVERSARY!!!

This isn't an easy way out that is for certain. I agree it is well worth it and would do it over if I had to in a heartbeat!

I am sure you are missed at the PNC meetings too!!!

Congratulations on your third year surgerversary, Farrah!

And I agree--this WL journey is difficult--but it's considerably easier without carrying an extra 100+ lbs. I concur with many--WLS saved my life.

Congrats to you! I love how you just wrote it like it is. The good, bad and ugly! :O) That is fabulous. 246 and 166 are two totally different people! Way to go!
