So in my head I have been thinking ( dangerous yes )  How long does ones body need to be at a weight to say " Ok this is it" and not slide up.
I keep thinking I had heard two to three years of maintaining a weight.

I understand one can slide up... but the above question I am having trouble googling because I dont think Im putting it in properly.  The right words.

Does anyone know what the heck Im talking about even?

TIA for any help!

Linda Anne,

Try googling Set Point Theory. There is a ton of info related to this idea born out of eating disorders research.
