What a week its been!!

Oddly Im at a loss for words this morning... LOL...  Its been an emotional week filled with all kinds of emotions.  Fortunately Ive been keeping busy to help overcome them.

If you recall my mom had both of her legs amputated earlier this year.  She has been in the "i will never be able to do anything again" mode.  She called me Sunday and she went SWIMMING..!!  She said she felt so free and we cried..!!  How liberating..!!  I am so proud of her...!!!  They sent me pictures..  It was awesome.!!  Shes going to the Rays/Twins game tonight in Florida..  If your watching she will be the one with her bright yellow SPAM shirt and hat on...OH...  Yeah.. Like you would see her...  anywooo

With that note...  Whats on store for your weekend?

I hope to get my house clean, grocery shopping done and veg on Satuday..  Sunday will be filled with the Lord....  AND my buddy Gus.

Monday is my special day at the hospital for the blessed hystericalectemy.  If you have a spare prayer I would be grateful.

Edited to add: ALSO: My Dear hubby has a job interview on Tuesday!!  PTL..!!  Granted... this may or may not be the job for him but hey.. you got to start somewhere!!

PRAYERS going up for both of you!  You will not regret your surgery at all, Dana...  scary now, a blessing after!!

We've had our tents set up in the backyard airing out and getting a fresh coat of waterproofing, so we're camping out in the backyard tonight!

Coffee tomorrow, then taking the pool down FINALLY!  Maybe clean out the garage some more. 

Sunday is church, Trav got invited to VF with a pal, so he's WAY exited about that!  I believe I will be taking Bailey shopping for a BRA to go with her Homecoming dress!! WOO HOO!!!  HOOTER HOLDERS!!!

I'm so happy for your Mom......It's good she's getting out & doing things.....I think we all would go through that stage of thinking our lives are over.......Great for her that she got out and is having fun and realizes there is a life after amputation......

Good luck on Monday.....I hope it all works out....Your problems should be over.....Prayers for you going up.....And good luck to your hubby too......

It must have been something about this week cause my emotions have been a bit off all week as well.  I am so happy to hear that your mom went swimming!  Hopefully this will become a regular thing for her and she will be able to feel more comfortable with her body the way it is now. 

My weekend is packed.  Tomorrow I will be going to a prayer service in the morning and then lunch with friends, then up to Lake Maria State Park for an afternoon hike followed by dinner with Kelly (aka AdriannaMae).  Sunday will be church, then homework, house cleaning & laundry, grocery shopping and then an evening with my mom, little sister and grandma as we go see The Church Basement Ladies at the Plymouth Playhouse. 

I will definitley keep you in my prayers that all goes well on Monday and that you are able to have a speedy recovery and for your hubby in his job interview!

I am having a laid back weekend. I am struggling to get rid of this cold /sinus infection so I will be well enough to go to ALABAMA on Thursday!! Alot of R & R for me!

Hey girlie!  I miss you already! I always feel "take care of" when I'm around you - whether it be because of your great hospitality or your warm genuine presence - I adore you!

Great news about your mom - how fun that she's decided to continue to live life - just remember to keep telling her to DANCE! (of course, that's metaphorically speaking!)

Which hospital will you be at - did you mention Fairview?  I work just down the street - do you think you'd be up for visitors Monday afternoon/evening?  I could stop by if you want - I'll call first of course.  Plus, then maybe I can post an update for you here.

I'll be praying for you for your surgery and for Randy for the job interview.  You're absolutely right that the interview is as much for him to interview the company as it is for the company to interview him!
