4 weeks of success!!

Hi
My band was placed 4 weeks ago today. I love my decision! Things have gone really well. Today is my first offical day to chew food! Yippe! I am feeling satisfied for 2 to 3 hours after eating.

Tonight I had to go to a fancy dinner that my work sponsored, so I figured I'd use it as my own little celebration. I first enjoyed a few sips of White Wine then enjoyed about 3 oz of MahiMahi, half cup of veggie soup and about 2 bits of chocolate ice cream from Cold Stone.
My tummy was feeling just comfortable. I was able to leave half of the fish, the twice baked potato and the dinner rolls behind. (this is huge for me because previously I would have had 2 or 3 dinner rolls) I didn't even have the erge to eat anymore than what I did. (yes I left quite a bit of ice cream behind and nope not feeling bad about it!!)

I look forward to learning more about healthly foods and continuing my quest.
Thanks for listening, just had to share.

That's great you were able to celebrate your 1 month out with a yummy meal and feel great afterward. (Not overstuffed or guilty due to one too many dinner rolls.) I know how that goes, those stinkin' carbs! Congratulations!
