That is so cool!!  It must have felt amazing.  Cute pic!

I get to the point where my body wants to run but I have bad knees from carring all that weight for so long.  I want to run but am afraid it will hurt.  I've been taking glucosamine/crondroitin so maybe some day I can run.  Right now I'll have to settle for walking really fast.

You ROCK, Elena!!!  I've "trotted" a few times myself, but I'm not sure my left knee will ever be up for any significant running (unless I go under the knife yet AGAIN, which I don't see happening...)

Eddie looks STOKED!!!  We really need to get him & Hazel together & see what happens!!

WAY TO GO!!!!

Elena,
WTG!  Doesn't it feel wonderful!  I remember the first time I could run and it was amazing.  Unfortunately it has fallen by the wayside and I have not been going for runs lately. If only I had a doggy friend to go running with, but alas I am not allowed to have pets in my apartment.   Maybe tonight I will go for a run when I get home.  Just a quick reminder to take it slow when you start running and don't push yourself too fast or you may end up with an overuse injury which are no fun and take a while to heal.  Remember different parts of your body take longer  to adjust to the new level of activity we are able to do.  Keep up the good work!  Nicole

Elena, way to go girl!  You ROCK!!! Running is one of my eventual goals. It's very inspiring to hear people talk about becoming one of those people you see jogging on the sidewalk in the neighborhood. Keep up the fantastic, excellent, outstanding good job you've been doing!

Heidi
