Last night, I went out and bought an exercise suit.... and went for a walk/run. I actually RAN -- and didn't sprain my ankles!!

I went for 35 minutes and felt fantastic.... this morning I got up and did 10 more minutes of the same. Eddie is LOVING IT. I am so proud and wanted to share because I am one of the laziest people in the world when it comes to exercise.

Here's evidence:

Doesn't it feel GREAT! I went running for the first time last summer in almost 20 years! I also bought a bike and went for walks. Something I would have never done when I was 283 lbs.

You are truly an inspiration!! Do I dare to dream that I, too, can accomplish such a thing as to run again??? I cannot wait to get my date & be banded!! Thanx for all of your inspirational posts...and your bandster blog!!

Congrats!

Thanks Audrey! Dare to run? For sure! I hated (and still sort of hate) running... but I know that there is a skinny person inside me who can't wait to get the FREE benefits that come with running... no monthly charges... just me, my doggy and the pavement... lol.

OMG - First, I have to say that Eddie is SO darn cute. He looks like he has a lot of energy, so I bet he's fun to run with. That must be the most incredible feeling to feel strong and healthy enough to actually run. That is one of my big goals for after my surgery because I used to love running and miss it a lot. Every time you do it, it will get a little easier. I heard that "interval" training is a good way to burn fat, something about giving your heart and lungs a short break to slow back down again and then revving up again burns more than if you ran solid the whole time?  I'm certainly no expert, but might be worth looking into?  Either way - Good for YOU!!!!  Keep up the good work. The payoff on your investment is awesome!

That is fabulous!  Way to go!  Eddie is such a cute name along with a cute face!   You look great!  Was that before or after your run?
