Sleep Study Tonight
OK, Elena, you want lame? LOL
I have a sleep study tonight. First one. Nervous about it for some reason. I suppose just because it's something new and I don't know how it all works once I get there. I just hope I can fall asleep there. Given that I couldn't fall asleep until 2 am last night, it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm going to think of it as a vacation...no messy bedroom to look at, clean sheets, and they have cable and I don't!
I probably should have had one of these a long time ago. My surgeon wasn't sure I needed it but my friend Jenny who had surgery on Sept 2 said I should do it anyway. And my out of pocket expenses have been met so it shouldn't cost me much if anything.
Wish me luck! I hope I sleep the right way! Though they say you have to sleep on your stomach for part of the night. I never sleep on my stomach ever, that will be a challenge.

The worst part for me was when they asked me to sleep on my back. I hadn't slept on my back for - well, maybe ever. Can you imagine my surprise when they came back saying that my worst sleep came when I was laying on my back? NO! GET OUTTA TOWN!!!
Anyway, good luck to you with that! One more step closer to your goal!! Oh - and bring some unleaded along to get the crap out of your hair. It's chunky, and hangs on like a baby monkey...

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful

SLEEP WELL!!

(And thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!)
I am more tired today than when I sleep in my own bed, but it is such an inportant issue when you are going to have surgery. Where are you having your study done?

Good Luck and let us know how it goes!
Blessings!

There were a lot more wires than I though there would be. I did fall asleep. And they even had to wake me up in the morning. The tech was wonderful!
The tech told me that I had "beautiful sleep" and didn't stop breathing at all during the night.
Today at work is hard though. Some of that gunk got in my eyes and made my vision fuzzy. And now I'm not focusing very well with things about 1-2 feet from my head. Anything less than a foot, I'm not able to focus at all and I see double. This is very weird. And this of course has given me a doozy of a headache. Trying to make it through the day, five and a half hours left. I work on the computer all day long so you can imagine how hard this is.
Can't wait to get home and see how much damage the kitties did to the house their first night on their own.
Thanks for all the support and advice!
Anna
