Hi everyone... I've been lurking.  Have done the appointments and mental eval ( lol) met with the surgeon... waiting for the labwork and insurance okie dokie (which we already know is a go.)  Hubby and I are going to have RNY the same day, and October will be the month.  I just want to say to  all of you , I so enjoy your posts and pictures OMG amazing changes I can hardly wait I haven't been under the 2's for over 20 something years.

Hi, i'm Jill and i've been lurking on this board for quite some time. You all seem like a great bunch of people and I can't wait to meet you in person sometime. I had my surgery on Sept. 12 2005 and lost 150 lbs. but never got to my goal. Since then I had gained 80 lbs back, all my fault and not working my tool they way I was supposed to. Since the end of May I have been doing what I am supposed to and I have lost 43 lbs. Reading all the posts here have helped me and I wish I lived closer to you guys, you all support each other so much. Anyways I am going to send my money in to Darla for the overnight stay at the lodge, so I will get to meet some of you then if not before. Thanks for letting me be a part of this board..................Jill

Hi everyone. I'm Diane and I live in Milltown, Northwest Wisconsin. I'm scheduled for surgery 10/8/08, as long as my darn hemoglobin is high enough. I'm having my blood drawn on Friday, so we will see!  I've been lurking and just signed up last night. On all of my other posts I get a message that says my post will require approval from a moderator, so hopefully it will get approved soon. And I'm trying to work on getting a profile picture here but I'm at work right now and need to do it from home. I will get on that on Friday too. This board is wonderful and I'm enjoying all of the support and information from everyone. Hopefully, I will find a support group somewhere near me so I can meet some of you!
