9 Month Update!!!!

Its so hard to believe that 9 months ago today I had surgery. Its just amazing how life is now so different than it was 9 months ago. I have made so many friends, have an energy level that some days amazes me & the family, and I have a different outlook on life!

I'm down 128lbs WOOHOO!! Weighing a few lbs less than my husband which I think is one of my biggest WOW's on this journey!! I started wearing a 30/32  and now I'm wearing about a 16 pant depending of course on the pant and anywhere from a medium to a XL top. Love shopping a little bit more each day!! (as some of you know this is probably not a good thing for me! For me shopping is a sport!!) 

This journey is not an easy one and I have had many ups and downs with this process. First I had the complications in the beginning, then lots of fun dropping sizes, then a few stalls, consistently worried about making the right choices and then some more wow's. I feel so blessed that I have had this opportunity to have WLS!! Even with the struggles I would do this all over again. I often times wonder why I did not do this sooner. But, I know that it happens at the right time and that has certainly been the case.

For those of you in the beginning stages, or been on the journey for a while I have to say that the biggest thing that has helped me on my journey is the support from coffee groups. I encourage you to attend a coffee group when you can. The people I have meet through coffee and this board are amazing and I have made some life long friends. You all have given me the strength to take the journey each day, you have supported me in my ups and downs. Some of you have even supported me in my non-WLS ups and downs in life. I want to thank you all for making a huge impact on my life.
