FSH support meetings

Does anyone who went through Southdale attend the monthly support meetings? Are they just the 3rd Wed of the month? Anyone going this month?

I have only attended once before. I have been thinking about going again! Yes, they are the 3rd Wednesday of each month so that will be this wednesday.

My surgery was through FVSD 7/25/06, and I've never been to their support meetings. Can't make it this week, due to a church function., though marked my calender for Oct. 15th. Please post feedback after Wednesday evening, am interested in hearing about it!  Hugs, Patti

I would like to go.  I  have them on my calendar.  Are there usually a lot of people there?  I asked the dietitian if they are all skinny post-ops who go and she said everyone goes!  If my son is feeling better, I may try to make it.

I don't know how many people go. I think it's a requirement for me to attend at least 1 before surgery. I live in Lonsdale, so it's quite a drive. Coming from work in Minnetonka home , and back up to Edina might be a bit much. Haven't decided if I'm going, but it looks like a good topics coming up.

Wednesday, Nov. 18 - Donna Ziemer MS, RD, RN, Nurse Educator for the Fairview Southdale Hospital Weight Loss Surgery Program will dicsuss the use of vitamins
