Update on dates

Hi there!

Thank you for your comments.  I do know what I want and have settled in the past and don't want to ever settle again for any thing less than God's best for me.  And who couldn't always use another friend???

This is another perk from the WLS, feeling more self confidence and realizing that I am a worthwhile person and deserve a good man.

Thanks for sharing......Sometimes having guy friends is a good thing. It helps us understand what qualitys, etc. we really want in a boyfriend. I like having guy friends, you can bounce things off them and you get a different perspective than from a women......

I'm sure your Knight in Shining Armour will come........

I now love having men friends.  Especially with my past and so I feel this just shows how great God is that he can heal my past and give me caring men so that I can learn to trust men again.  Maybe that's what these men are doing in my life?  They're helping me become emotionally ready for the right man.  Plus, like you said, I get to find out the qualities I love in them and know what qualities I would love in a boyfriend.

And maybe, JUST MAYBE, one of these friends will find it in their hearts to introduce you to some more people - and they care enough about you that they wouldn't set you up to meet any losers, either!

You are beautiful, inside and out, and as long as you are ready to open your heart to love, it will find you.  Enjoying your life and friendships along the way is just the gravy!

You're so sweet!  I plan to enjoy my life and enjoy the men that God has put in my life and to learn what I want/need from a man.  this time now is for me.

Debi~KEep your chin up and have faith the Lord will bring you the right man at the right time, I know easier said than done, but that is what I always remind myself when I start to get frustrated.  I am glad to hear that the dates ended up deepining the friendship with both men as sometimes the opposite can happen.  Also good for you for being strong in your values and not changing the things that are important to you for a man.  Love & Hugs!  Nicole

Sounds like the dates went well. It is okay that you didn't get a boyfriend out of the deal. You didn't settle for less then what you want and that is great!!

It has been a while since I've been on the board.  I don't have a lot of time right now, but am trying to at least look at what's going on when I can't post.

I miss my OH friends and the contact I had before.  I've got to make it to a coffee one of these days.
