Sorry to read that your uncles condition has worsened. I hope he can be kept comfortable in his last days, and that you make the right decision for you as to if to go out to see him before he passes.

Thinking of you and praying for your family during this tough time! Been there done that and it stinks quite frankly. Once it hit my dad's brain, he went very quickly. If you feel you need to go Marsha, I'd encourage you to do what you can now to go soon. Or call him tonight. It's so hard to live with regret.

It is a very hard thing to go through....I went through it with my mother. They gave her 6 months, the Lord didn't take her for 2.5 years. It was dreadful. Be strong for your family and trust that the Lord will do the right thing for all.
