OT-Facebook help?

Anyone use facebook?  I just signed up and am so lost!  I get the basics, I guess, and after a half dozen attempts (I'm not great at the computer) I figured out how to post pictures.  But how do I personalize it?  Like add tickers and other stuff?  TIA!  Lorraine

I am on Facebook and basically learn as I go.  There isn't really a way to personalize besides moving areas around to different parts of the screen.  There are different things you can pick up from others pages, that's basically how I've learned things.  Look under peoples photos and there is an area with all different sorts of symbols or shapes, click on those and you can ad things to your profile.  You can choose to find groups as well which is either on the left hand of your screen when in your profile or on the right when it's the home page.  Alot of people I know have been confused but the site but the younger ones have full swing of it.
