New avatar not showing.....need help

It may be a new learning experience with Windows Vista, though that itself shouldn't be an issue.  In 'user settings', the new avvie shows, and was 'saved', though not appearing on my post.  Any suggestions are sppreciated!  Thanks

Patti, after any change in User Settings, always remember to hit either Refresh or F5. This saves you from logging out and logging back in.

Ok, must preface this by saying I mean this in the MOST comlimentary, positive way, ok?

I snuck a peek at some of your recent pictures in your profile, and have to say you look lots younger than your old avatar showed. When you get sick of the waterslide, change it to one of the new ones in your profile instead of the animal print outfit from your old one. Really, at least 10 yrs younger. Looking good!
