Getting back on track

I've stalled for a while now... and Barb was right (damn her, always with the smart brain!!) ... it's because of my choices.

Because I have been moving for the last 2 weeks, all of my kitchen dishware and cooking tools were packed away and it's been restaurant eating every night. I don't make horrible choices, but it's the fact that it's a RESTAURANT.

I am OK with going out once a week or so, but not for every meal.

So, last night, I got a 2nd wind and went on an organizing frenzy at my new place. We had boxes and crap EVERYWHERE and I just started putting everything away. Three hours later, my kitchen is now fully set up and the rest is in "decent" condition (with a few boxes lying around and a closet that should NOT be entered)... but I feel like it's finally home, or at least a place I can invite friends to.

So... I will be hitting the grocery store and then back to my healthy cooking, eating at home and getting back to the basics. Hopefully I can get back on track and on my way to weight loss again. It's amazing how quick and easy it is to stray.

Good for you! That resturant food has so many calories. I have just come to this realization that dinning out needs to be a treat/rare occasion.

Congrats on getting organized. Best wishes.
God Bless, Angela

Elena....I bet it feeels good to have all that done. I can't stand to
not have my kitchen organized.

Angela is right...eating out has to be an occasional thing....too may calories and we tend to eat things we shouldn't.

The pounds will start dropping off again now...good luck!

Restaurants don't understand what portion control means.

Realizing you are stalled is the first step to getting back on track.  It will help not being surrounded by crazy anarchists, too!  Getting back to "normal" - whatever that is!

Smart move hauling butt to get your kitchen set up so you can quit having to go out to eat. I predict a nice loss SOON now that that's done.
