Two week post op visit

Just wanted to update here after my two week post op visit that I had yesterday.  According to the clinic, all things look really good.  Incisions are all healing well and they are pleased with my weight loss.  I was 360 there yesterday and woke up to 357 this morning.  Incredible!

The best news of the visit is that I get to transition to pureed foods on Saturday!  Yeah!!!  My date was supposed to be Monday, but they said that I could do it on Saturday.  I was going to push for this anyways since I really didn't want to be trying new foods on my first day back to work.

All in all, I have been feeling really good.  The one pain in my belly that they say is normal is getting better.  Food is going well.  I have been able to exercise everyday.  And, my stamina is so much better.  Yeah for RNY!!

That's great... my favorite puree and I still eat this a lot is instant potatoes. They have weight to them and helps you realize your pouch and it's size!!

Sounds like things are going great and that's just awesome. Have fun with the purreed. My favorite purreed food was ham with pineapple. You can buy ham steaks (they are pre-cooked). Cut a ham steak up in small pieces, put in microwave bowl with pineapple juice and pineapple chunks. Cover bowl with Press and Seal. Cut a couple small holes in the wrap to vent. This makes it very moist. Then you purree with magic bullet or blender. Enjoy!!! It's yummy!!!

MY favorite pureed meal was FF refried beans with a little cheese melted on top, with a bit of salsa added!  Turkey chili was good too
